Fun Run 2012

Every athletics season our club holds a 'fun run' as a fund raiser. The athletes run as many laps as they can around the track in one hour. And well yeah, I kinda didn't do it this season!! But hey, I got heaps of photos instead :P Enjoy!

Grouping up around the start line

Middy, Mrs. Rakete, and Mrs. Bennet marking people.
The athletes get a mark each time the cross the start/finish line;
at the end of the night, the marks are counted to determine the
number of laps the athletes have run.

Athletics Fun Run

Hey!

On the 23rd of February this year, we had the 2009 - 2010 season Fun Run. This is when all us athletes find sponsors, then run as many laps of the 400m track as we can in one hour.
It results in many tired and sore people, but is heaps of fun!

Danielle's Group ready to start

Really bad photo of me............

Lined up accross finish line to
put a mark on people's arms to
show how many laps they have run.

We have the next fun run coming up on the 7th of December for the 2010 - 2011 season. Lots of training needed, i think!

Danielle's 7th Birthday

Hi again all my faithful followers!

Sorry i haven't posted in AGES, I have added a couple of subjects to my curriculum, and have gotten behind, so i'm working really hard (or supposed to be!) to catch up a bit!

Danielle's birthday was on February 19th.
I organised a princess dress-up party for her.

They all watched as Danielle opened each of her presents!

I had also organised for them to make some cards, which they all really enjoyed; however Mum and I had much less stuff by the time they had finished! =)

Around the table from the left:

Abigail Rakete (Blue), Bryce, Diana,

Jarrod Jago, Katie Joy Aiken,

Monique Jago, Emily McGechie (pink)

And a pink cake always goes down well with young girls!
