My cousin Grace flew over from Aussie to be here for my 21st and gifted me with a trip down to the mountain, spending a couple of nights in the chateau. We enjoyed a couple of days away on our own exploring the country. Grace joined a tour group and did the Tongariro Crossing in the snow, and I got some rest and down time to recover after planning and hosting my party.
It also was the first real chance I had to play with my new camera, and I'm quite happy with some of the results ;)
