That time we wanted to do something fun but I had to work so we didn't have much time. And then the weather wasn't great. So we bought chips and chocolate and lollies and went for a drive up One Tree Hill. We looked in the old cottage and you found a "war room". Trying to pat the sheep that turned out not to be as tame as they first looked ;P Hanging and playing games with my little sibs. Bringing your friend Allison along to see us all. Forgetting to take photos. And then getting up at some crazy hour to get you on your flight back to Aus. Thinking we should make the most of our last few minutes together but being too tired to think lol. Deciding to get photos together and wishing we had remembered when we didn't look so tired . . . :P Thanks for your friendship, Bethany <3

Aussie Trip {Part 27} The Finale
![]() |
| : : So pretty : : |
After the zoo, Grace and I had a couple more days together in Brissy, hanging together and visiting the Brisbane wheel (which I can't find the photos from :'( ) On Friday Uncle Richard came back from work, and Aunty Vicki came up with Faith and Luke and we all went to the airport together. And with that, my trip was over. So long Aussie, until next time.

Wellington Adventure! || Part 2
Click here to read part 1.
On Tuesday, Aunty Melissa had to get someone a birthday present (#scoreforme) so we hit a couple of shops after dropping Nana at her friend's place, then headed to a bowling alley for some fun.
A few more shops and a grocery trip later, we headed home for a few hours. Then out to a barbecue dinner, where I met lots of new people [and didn't take any photos].
Aunty Melissa, Olivia, and I made for the mall on Wednesday morning for a few hours shopping. (For some reason Harry didn't think that sounded very exciting, so we left him at home with Nana.) I tried on several things, but ended up settling with just a couple of bracelets (yeah, I can be great at window shopping ;)). Oh yeah, and the coffee was good! :)
Later we picked Uncle Bill up from work and went to the Fisherman's Table for dinner.

After that it was straight to the airport for my short flight home. *sigh*

Recent Happenings
Recap of my Wellington adventure coming soon. :) In the meantime, here's a small summary of miscellaneous things we've done over the holidays so far.
I've posted a few photos from our house-rearranging, but here are a few more:
My friend Bethany visited from Australia for a little while. It was three years since I last saw her and it was great to catch up but she has to stay longer next time :P Sadly the photojournalist in me is working part time right now. :/ So we took very few pics I'm afraid. We had a successful shopping expedition together, and Mum took us and another of my friends to a cafe in Devonport for dessert one night.
The end of this post. :P

| Yeah. It isn't half as spacious now :P |

| Bookcases in and wardrobe filled. We've raised the bar in the wardrobe a bit because some of the dresses were too close the the shoe rack. And we put in another shelf below that one ;) |

| Triple bunk set. It is more solid now and will be painted purple before it makes it to our room. Jarrod has been building it with some advice/guidance for our uncle (Uncle Paul) who's a builder. |

| That's Bethany next to me, and the girl in the blue top is Alison. They're from the same church and came over together. |

Visit to Airport
| The chips Dad bought from KFC were (not surprisingly) very popular! |
The Campbells are a homeschooling family, originally from South Africa. Mrs. Campbell's father (Mr. V) had been here in NZ for quite a while, and Dad decided we should go to the airport to see him off for Africa. I'm not going to write much for this post either, but I will post a few pics with captions.
I got to drive there, yay 20 minutes closer to 120 hours!

Stuff
Hey.
Well, today I finished the skirts I was sewing for Monique, Danielle, and Diana, and made purple net curtains to which are hanging in my room now:
And I was looking forward to athletics since it was a nice day..but that was canceled anyway because the track hadn't been marked =(
But tonight I recieved a couple of packages from one of my favorite companies - Vista Print. One was from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and the other one was from Singapore! No wonder postage is so expensive on the 'free' products! lol
And later tonight we get to go to the airport to pick up my friend Bethany from Australia. After I've done flute practice and fed the cats, done more tidying up and cleaning....blah blah blah!
I'm thinking of starting an ironing micro-business (idea from The Old Schoolhouse Magazine!). Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could call it? Any and all ideas appreciated =)
Well Mum wants me to look up must-do's in Auckland and Rotorua (we are probs going there with Beth on Sat), so I better go.
Cya,
Bee
