10 on 10

There's a time for everything, and I think now is the time to resurrect this series. Hadn't bargained on being sick while I was working on this though, argh! Didn't make for a very interesting series of activities to shoot, but I got some that turned out well I think.

10 on 10 is a collection of 10 images posted on the 10th of the month, shot the day before. No "special" shoot, just taking my camera with me as I go about my day and capturing art in everyday life.

1. My favourite colour is purple
2. I'm the bossy firstborn ;P
3. I love knitting and I can do basic work while reading a book or lying in bed with all the lights off

So perhaps it's more usual to start a project like this in January, but hey. Beginning today, I'm going to post ten random photos on the tenth of each month: the shots will all be taken the day before. Granted I don't have my dream camera or anything, but this is a small and easy project to improve my photography. Leave me a comment telling me your favourites!

Because Nana lives in Wellington and we rarely make the trip to see her nowadays, I thought it might be nice to take some photos of the family down with me {on my recent trip} for her to see. I got some cool photos and learned more about Mum's camera and Monique's, but somehow when I picked the photos to take with me I missed all of these. Oops! I snapped away happily and before long the number of images was in excess of three hundred! Here are a few of the better ones. :)
