21st Birthday || Part 2 {Snapshots}

Having always been the quiet introvert to hide in the corner at big events, I challenged myself to make my 21st an event where those of us quieter ones could would enjoy taking part in the proceedings. Obviously Pinterest supplied inspiration for so much of the event, but for games I pulled on experiences from other parties: a quiz about myself, and giving people a list of statements and challenge to find one person about which each was true (and all true of me)--shoutout to Marieke for this one.

Back in the day, when my friends and I were all celebrating our "big" 5th birthdays, themed parties were the in-thing. After my best friend had an elaborate fairy-dress-up party (which my mum sewed me a costume for) I decided I needed a themed party of my own. Trouble was, I could never decide on just one theme--there were too many good options! The years rolled on and my dream finally came true the year I turned 21.

Yesterday I worked the business day away from home, then arrived back to help a little before settling into photo processing for the evening.

10 on 10 is a collection of 10 images posted on the 10th of the month, shot the day before. No "special" shoot, just taking my camera with me as I go about my day and capturing art in everyday life.
