We spent last Christmas with Dad's side of the family down in Taranaki. Dad took Friday off work and left with Mum and most of the kids in the morning. Jarrod and I worked for the day and then packed up and left late afternoon.

It was a pretty good trip, but when we completed it and got out of the car we discovered the weather was a little different than in Auckland. It was FREEZING.
